Green and Gold is a ground cover which tolerates a good bit of shade. An hour of sun a day will suffice to keep this native perenial happy. Green & gold blooms in the spring. There are hybrids available which have increased bloom with a somewhat larger plant than what I've cultivated from wild stock. Divide green and gold in the autumn.
